Bill Sorice A Brief Biography


Bill Sorice is a native NYC chameleon-like character actor with range and professional experience, having costarred opposite Name actors in several feature films and on network television, including: FBI, Matt's Chance, Brutal Massacre: A Comedy - just to name a few.


A New York Tech summa cum laude graduate of Communication Arts (BFA) with training in ALL aspects of Film and Television production has given him superior insights into the creative process as an actor and sets him apart from other performers. Also, a swing dancer who was trained by the Ambassador of Lindy Hop, Frankie Manning. Bill is a multiple award winning writer-director, but if you ask him, what do you do for a living ? He would simply reply, I'm a storyteller .


Since 2009 he has worked at CUNY / Hostos in the underserved community of the South Bronx as a Production Stage Manager for the Hostos Repertory Company coordinating and calling 25+ full scale shows of various budgets. In addition, he works as an acting coach at the college and has assisted countless students prepare scenes and monologues for acting showcases.


Born and raised in a working-class section of South Queens but has resided his adult life in several neighborhoods in Manhattan. He has encountered a slew of colorful characters throughout his vibrant lifetime, which helps fuel his creativity. Bill is always looking for an opportunity to create his next original, thought-provoking and memorable role.
